Hello and welcome to my blog! For those of you who may not know me my name is Suzy Goodman and I am certified as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner through the Nutritional Therapy Association. Throughout my life I have had a strong interest in healthful eating and taking care of my body physically, emotionally, and spiritually. As a result of some serious trauma to my body due to multiple car accidents, as well some poor medical advice and environmental exposures, I found myself at a crossroads seeing that my health was on a downward trek. I was in a position where I needed to become an active and involved health advocate for myself. I had to make a decision between taking pharmaceuticals for the rest of my life or learning how to care for my body in a way that God intended for it, allowing it to repair and regenerate itself hopefully faster than it was degenerating. This is an on-going process for me that has involved certain changes in my lifesyle including eating a whole foods nutrient dense diet, adding in some high quality supportive supplements based on my own biochemical needs at the time, daily exercise, adequate sleep and stress reduction. This has become a journey and a passion for me as God and I have been walking this road together. It began with me needing to strengthen my own body. As I was experiencing the difference these changes were making in my life I began enthusiastically sharing what I was learning with my family and friends. As a result of them benefiting from these nutritional and lifestyle changes, they are enthusiastically sharing what they are learning with others.
It is my desire that this blog will bring an ever growing network of us together as we share healthy ideas and information about nutritional issues, products, recipes, ideas and more. I look forward to this evolving as each of you express your needs and or interests. I welcome your thoughts, your special “finds”, your amazing and nutritional recipes. The blog is for you. Ask, ask, ask and share, share, share. My prayer is that what you learn through it will make a difference in your life and in the lives of those you love.
